on november 19, milkyway acquired 100% equity of shanghai chemical transportation co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “jiaoyun chemical”) through public bidding in shanghai united equity exchange, which the company is subordinate to shanghai transportation group. it marks another new force in milkyway's truck transportation sector (mrt). jiaoyun chemical will position itself in nuclear power and other special goods and cross-border transportation business, develop in coordination with the group's original container, tank truck, contract logistics, express trunk line, highway port and e-tiger business part, and equip the group's truck business with a new growth engine.
jiaoyun chemical is a professional transportation enterprise engaged in road transportation of various specialty chemicalss. it was originally subordinate to shanghai transportation group co., ltd. and has a long history and first-class industry status. founded in 1961, with a history of more than 50 years, jiaoyun chemical has the transportation qualification to carry 1-9 categories of specialty chemicalss, highly toxic products and hazardous wastes. it has accumulated rich experience in road transportation of specialty chemicals, explosives, radioactive substances and highly toxic substances.
